For the last ten years, singer-songwriter Jesse Sykes and guitarist Phil Wandscher have forged some of the most memorable Americana sounds with their band Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter. The pair stop by our offices on day five of the Twelve Days of Fretboard to record the tune “On This Land (Feathers Keep Falling).”

Sykes has been a longtime fan of Guild Guitars. At the end of the video, she explains how Wandscher convinced her to buy her first Guild. Wandscher is playing his Gibson Les Paul through the FJ’s Carr Sportsman amp.
