Barry Grzebik at Grez Guitars has a nicely situated shop in Petaluma, CA, where he builds a crazy assortment of solid body electric, archtop and acoustic guitars, many with tools and forms passed on from the shop of the legendary R.C. Allen. He also goes the extra mile when it comes to sustainability — not only does he favor reclaimed/salvaged timbers whenever possible, he also plants a tree for every guitar he builds. In the video above Barry takes us on a tour of his shop, including a look at his first amplifier build (a PA head he modified when he was 17) and an assortment of his guitars, finished and in progress.
