While in town to play at Seattle’s Tractor Tavern with Rusted Root, Pittsburgh-based guitarist Colter Harper made time to come by the Fretboard Journal offices and show us some of what he’s been working on.

In addition to his position as lead guitarist in Rusted Root, Harper is a prolific member of Pittsburg’s jazz scene. His 2007 album Once Upon A Mind is a favorite.

Here, Harper shares a new song, “All I Want,” from a collection of music he’s readying for release. He’s playing a laud made by Alhambra Guitarras.
