Courtney Hartman and Robert Ellis just released an incredible tribute album to John Hartford entitled Dear John. The Fretboard Journal is proud to premiere this video featuring the duo’s stellar version Hartford’s “Old Time River Man.”

On this video, Hartman is playing a 1930 Kel Kroydon KK1 and Ellis is playing a 1942 Martin 00-17, both on loan from musician Mason Stoops.
