The Telecaster, in my opinion, is the most versatile guitar made by man. I truly believe this guitar was Leo Fender’s gift to the world. With a three way switch, a volume knob, and a tone knob, you can effortlessly weave in and out of every style of music you can handle. Unlike the person playing it, this guitar has no limit whatsoever. From twangy, chicken picked country to hammer handed punk rock to flowing jazz and bebop… all you need is a Telecaster.
The only thing this guitar can’t handle is that big pile of laundry you’ve been putting off. Or ironing the shirts you’ve had stuffed in your tour suitcase for three weeks. Or making your husband breakfast. Thankfully for both he and I, another thing it can do, is put food on the table. We make our livings using nothing but this one guitar. So, in short… thank you, Leo. “Tele Tuesday” is our favorite holiday! – Mandy Marie Luke
