When Margaret Glaspy stopped by the Fretboard Journal to perform, we expected to hear a few tunes from her 2016 album, Emotions and Math. What we didn’t anticipate was her searing cover of Lucinda Williams’ “Fruits of My Labor” on her Danocaster. It’s a near-perfect cover and Glaspy’s voice seems tailor-made for this tune.
You can read more about Glaspy in the 37th issue of the Fretboard Journal in a feature penned for us by writer Alexa Peters. Also in that issue: features on Nels Cline, banjo great Alan Munde, luthier Joe Yanuziello and more.
