We haven’t had any musicians visit our studio since COVID lockdowns began in March of 2020, so we’re going through the Fretboard Journal archives and unearthing some incredible videos and podcasts for the very first time.
Today, we have never-before-seen footage of bluegrass great Billy Strings performing a blistering version of “John Henry” at our headquarters. This clip was filmed in 2017 and features Strings’ sunburst Preston Thompson dreadnought with Brazilian rosewood back and sides.
