Yesterday, KEXP ran a lengthy interview with me on their website. KEXP, for those who don’t know, is the Seattle-based, listener-supported radio station that champions new and independent music like few others. I’d rank it KEXP, WFMU and KCRW as the three best radio stations in the world. The fact that KEXP is commercial-free just adds to the station’s magic…  and you can stream it from anywhere in the world in real time.

Though KEXP’s focus is largely indie-rock, they took the time to interview me about the magazine, which is decidedly not always indie-rock. To say I’m flattered is an understatement. I’m also glad to see that the interview is part of an ongoing series spotlighting interesting print publications. I can’t wait to see what else they uncover.
