Join jazz guitar great Bill Frisell and his new band the Beautiful Dreamers, banjo player Danny Barnes and the Canote Brothers for an evening of genre-blurring music curated by Frisell himself. A limited edition, Jim Woodring-designed poster for the event will be available for purchase at the show (we'll try to have a few extras available on this site after the event, as well).

Join the Fretboard Journal editors, fellow guitar fanatics and special guests for the ultimate FJ reader meetup in the Rendezvous’ JewelBox Theater. Bring a guitar if you want to show & tell (or play a tune) or just admire some of the fine instruments on display from Northwest builders. We’ll have some surprise musical guests including Neko Case's pedal steel guitar player Jon Rauhouse and Visqueen's Rachel Flotard, giveaways galore and Fretboard Journal swag available. The Rendezvous has a full dinner menu should you need to eat.

World-class luthier and guitarist (and subject of the acclaimed book Clapton’s Guitar) Wayne Henderson flies in from Rugby, VA (pop. 7) to Seattle for this one-off performance just for Fretboard Journal fanatics. Readers of the Journal know how special Henderson’s music and instruments are. We’ll be treated to a full set of music and stories from this NEA Heritage Award winner. $5 for current Fretboard Journal subscribers, $10 for general admission.
