1991 Gibson Montana Advanced Jumbo - Early re-issue

A very early production model from Gibson Montana. This guitar is an all original classic.  No cracks or repairs.  A strap button on the heel is the only addition.  It has the nitrocellulose lacquer that the 1990 models lacked, resulting in a more open sound.  It has also resulted in a foggy area on the lower bout from forearm sweat.  It is neither large nor very noticeable (visible as I could get it in pic #2, slightly there in #1).  This guitar has a tobacco burst quality to the finish - the fade is to a reddish brown instead of a dark black (pic #1 captures the true color the best).  Beautifully matched rosewood back - the white streak in pic #3 is from camera flash. Small play wear - string scratch on the headstock, small finish marks, etc.  This guitar has been played and loved for almost 20 years.  The classic Bluegrass cannon.

Comes with a Non-OHSC (the original fell apart a few years ago). Gibson brand, never even pulled the combination lock tab.
