Why, Hello There
posted by Caleb Thomas
Why, hello there. Since I’m going to be taking up space in this magazine from now on, I figure I might as well introduce myself. I’m Caleb, and I’m a cynical 15 year-old with very opinionated views on music. Luckily for you, you’ll have the pleasure of being able to read about them from now on.
I guess I’m supposed to talk about what I like to do or some other topic as a pretense for taking up space. Well, to be honest I don’t really do much with my time. I look at funny pictures of cats on the internet, and whack drums with sticks. Besides that I sleep and eat Cheetos, which my dad can be sure to verify for you. Speaking of my dad, he also blogs here, and is the main reason I’m doing this. John Thomas, also known as that weird bald, bearded guy, has a moderate obsession with guitars. So, while driving me to school one day, he proposed the idea that I blog in this magazine with him. In my typical Monday morning coffee-sustained daze, I wholeheartedly agreed in a useless attempt to get him to stop talking. Well, here I am 3 weeks of procrastinating later. Anyway, I hope you enjoy, or at least can put up with what I have to say. I look forward to writing here more in the future!
